Students Arriving for the 2022/2023 Third Term

Students, in the company of their teachers, had to walk all the way from Thete trading centre to the school campus, about 4.8km, due to bad road conditions. The roads were too muddy for buses and small cars to go through safely, only 4X4 cars managed to reach the school campus. The road condition was bad even for walking as some students kept on slipping and falling.

For much of the journey they had to walk through unharvested maize fields. A special arrangement had to be made to hire a tractor to ferry the student’s luggage to the school. the luggage was only able to reach the school late at night after 6:30pm and some other luggage was ferried the next day, on Sunday, and reached the campus after 11:00am.
